Objective

To strengthen the faith, challenge the beliefs of the unbelievers, work as a team with like-minded ministries, as well as reach people with the Gospel effectively and efficiently as possible. To develop a comprehensive approach to working with individuals in crisis and lead them to Christ, because I believe that all human beings are capable of positive change. If we provide holistic services in order to bring hope and restoration to the community. We will accomplish our mission through various community outreach programs that will provide consistent and comprehensive spiritual and social support. Ultimately a visible and accessible community outreach center to include a second stage housing program, which will provide concrete solutions to existing spiritual/social problems, as well as client/community empowerment.  

Vision

Healing this community and beyond where lives are transformed through Christ’s Love, Grace and Compassion. We develop a system to restore the hopes and dreams of men, women and children living in poverty and in risk situations, to address such issues as spiritual knowledge, life skills, character, etc. Be a tool in bringing hope to individuals long term future. Provide referrals (means) of escape from domestic violence, abuse and neglect. Provide Biblical and Spiritual based means of restoration and regeneration using Apostolic and Evangelical applications. Isaiah 61:1-4


Mission

To encourage, guide and lead people into a growing and active relationship with Jesus Christ, in which they can benefit and serve their family, church and community for the sake of the Great Commission. Our mission is to demonstrate God’s Love by alleviating human needs and suffering in this community and beyond. In an effort to relieve human suffering, we will combat hunger, deprivation and physical affliction with provisions of food, clothing, referral for shelter, referral for medical care, and other basic necessities of life. We pray that in the near future, we will be able to help facilitate the development of healthy, vibrant and self-sustaining communities by addressing larger issues of Education, Skill Training, Community Health, Employment, Housing and Food Security.

To empower our clients/guests to become valued members of society while raising awareness for their plight. To reflect the Love of God in all that we do. MERC will seek to exemplify Christian Compassion and enevolence while conforming to the highest standards of Integrity, Dignity, and Confidentiality. We will be Committed…. To providing and developing assistance to economically disadvantaged victims of social environmental and natural disasters throughout the community and beyond. Matthew 4:19, Isaiah 61:1-4
